Because of a large and valuable donation of books to the IIRE, the Institute is freeing up space in the library by putting a number of unneeded books on sale. In particular old copies of books, for which we also have more practical and newer copies, will be available at the store. It is online at http://amzn.to/IIREbk. Notable books include a copy of The German Ideology given by Hugo Dewer, a founder of British Trotskyism, to Trotsky's former secretary, Pierre Frank, during his wartime exile in Britain.

Of interest to German-readers will be a 1926 hardback copy of Der Imperialismus, a splendid and detailed analysis of US and European capital by Fritz Sternberg, a Jewish marxist who was later in exile with Leon Trotsky in France and helped finance the early Fourth International.

If you're interested in bargain books, also check out our clearance sale. Because of Amazon's high charges to sellers, we can only offer those lower clearance prices to those who buy directly.
