Mission
The IIRE was founded as an international institute where activists, from all regions in the world and from different political and social traditions, can spend long periods together: studying, revisiting history in order to reflect on their own experiences and the lessons to be drawn from them. Its core activity is the organisation and hosting of educational sessions and seminars training activists from various movements. The IIRE also organises public events and lectures on political, social and theoretical subjects. . The IIRE publications, aim at giving a better understanding of contemporary and theoretical questions. The IIRE makes its publications and recordings available for a wider audience. The IIRE hosts an important library and archives of the Fourth International.
