bensaidDaniel Bensaïd (né en 1946 à Toulouse) est un universitaire français, philosophe et militant. Professeur de philosophie à l'Université Paris VIII - Saint-Denis. Il a commencé a militer pendant le mouvement étudiant de 1968 où il a joué un rôle important. Il est surtout connu pour ses études sur Walter Benjamin, Karl Marx et le post-modernisme français.

Daniel a largement écrit et contribue aux débats internationaux sur la stratégie anticapitaliste et ses perspectives. La plupart de ses écrits sont en français, mais certains sont aussi disponibles en espagnol, italien, anglais, portuguais, allemand, turc, vietnamien et japonais.
